From the Sugar Land Police Department:
High Police Presence: SLPD is on scene in the 1100 Block of Oxford Mills in New Territory. SLPD is investigating a shooting, and there does not appear to be any further threat to anyone in the area.
Update: SLPD responded to a shooting last night at 9:50pm in the 1100 block of Oxford Mills Lane. Neighbors told police they heard gunshots. When Officers arrived, they found a 28 year old female deceased in the backyard with multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation appears to show the shooting related to domestic violence. A male suspect has been identified and the investigation is still ongoing.
