A Clements High School student wins first place in Congressional Art Competition.

The Houston Chronicle reports that “Fort Bend ISD student Hannah Li, who attends Clements High School in Sugar Land, was named the first-place winner. Titled “In The Moment”, Li’s piece will be on display in the U.S. Capitol for an entire year.”

“The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 for Members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since the competition was launched, more than 650,000 high school students have participated officials say.”
