The City of Sugar Land is bringing back the July 4 tradition!
The Sugar Land sky will light up with colorful fireworks as we celebrate America’s Independence Day together. This festival is free and open to the public.
Entertainment and Activities
Enjoy an evening full of family-friendly fun and activities including:
- a children’s zone complete with inflatables
- photo opportunities
- face painting
- craft stations
- a variety of local musical talent
- great food available for purchase
The event will conclude with the largest fireworks display in Fort Bend County!

Tickets are free and will be required for the event.
Tickets will not be available the day of the event.
How to get there
Parking
Limited parking will be available at Brazos River Park.
- The paved lots will be available for those with handicap and parking permits.
- The fair weather lot (grass parking) will be available for general parking.
Park, then ride the shuttle
There will be three designated parking locations for shuttle pickup/drop off. Shuttles will run continuously from 3:30 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. These locations include:
- Edward Mercer Stadium
16403 Lexington Blvd. - Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land
18111 Lexington Blvd. - University of Houston Sugar Land
14000 University Blvd.
Taxi and Uber Service
For those choosing to use a Taxi or Uber service, designated pick up and drop off areas will be available at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land.
