Sugar Land police are looking for two gunmen who attempted to rob a cashier at Walgreens, 3316 Highway 6, on Dec. 21.
An employee said the men approached her counter with a box of cookies at 10:18 p.m. During the transaction, both men removed concealed handguns, pointed them toward her and demanded cash from the register. She was unable to open the register and ran toward the back of the store for help. The two men were last seen walking out of the store empty handed.
Both men were described as black. One was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He had a beard and was wearing a black jacket with a hood, black Adidas pants and black Crocs. The second man had lighter skin. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 145 pounds. He was wearing white-washed jeans that were ripped, dark shoes and a hooded jacket.
Police obtained surveillance video from inside the store that shows both suspects.
