Applications for our Citizens Police Academy are OPEN! The Citizen’s Police Academy is an opportunity to take an inside look at the Sugar Land Police Department, a remarkable organization of people and technology. Students are introduced to all aspects of law enforcement, including: police department structure, criminal scene investigations (CSI: Sugar Land), patrol procedures, traffic laws and traffic stops and active shooter situation response.
Classes start on August 25, 2022. The class meets every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and includes a graduation ceremony and one Saturday morning class.
