Details

The City of Sugar Land is beginning a new annual tradition of a Fall Festival! The event will be a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy great activities that the season brings to our sweet city as we celebrate the unique culture within our community. For 2020, the Sugar Land Fall Festival will be planned as a virtual experience with the hopes of returning to normal face to face events once it is safe to do so.

The Virtual Fall Festival will be focused on fall activities, food and entertainment with an assortment of attractions. The Main Stage (viewable from Facebook.com/SugarLandParks) will energize viewers with leading artists who present an upbeat rotation of music and dance performances by a local solo guitarist and flutist, Rom Ryan, the Polka Dots Band, Mango Punch! and LD Dance Company. A fall festival would not be complete without designated children and family activities. A majestic Abracadabra Magic Show will feature the magic of a children’s magician who has many tricks and illusions up his sleeve to entertain the entire family. Additional activities will feature do-it-yourself art and craft projects facilitated by our favorite Sugar Land Town Square Businesses.

– Onsite Socially Distanced Activities at the Plaza will take place- Sept. 19 – 26:
If you are in the mood to get outdoors, a panoramic backdrop for the event will be featured in a designated area within Town Square Plaza and a Town Square Scavenger Hunt will be available within the Square for all to enjoy.

– The Fall Festival backdrop graphic will be available onsite within the plaza for you and your family to take photos in front of. After taking photos feel free to post within our event page for all event goers to see!

– Scavenger Hunt
The Scavenger Hunt will allow for residents to form teams or participate individually. Scavenger hunt clues will be distributed through an app provided on our social media platforms. Teams will follow the clues and claim Pumpkin Patch Certificates at participating retailers and/or landmarks. Collecting the most certificates wins the Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt. Winners will be awarded certificates that will be displayed on a virtual hall of fame collage available online via our main Facebook page (Facebook.com/SugarLandParks) on Saturday, September 26.
