The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Education Division celebrated the Fort Bend ISD Teacher of the Year nominees.

The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Education Division celebrated the Fort Bend ISD Teacher of the Year nominees. This reception, moderated by Jim Rice, FBCC Education Division Chair, was held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Fort Bend Chamber office, 445 Commerce Green Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77478 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

The Fort Bend Chamber was joined by Fort Bend ISD Superintendent, Dr. Christie Whitbeck. Dr. Whitbeck celebrated these teachers that have gone above and beyond for their students and colleagues. She also thanked and acknowledged the campus teachers of the year in an intimate reception. These teachers have shown a dedication to our students and have now received an incredible achievement by being a nominee for the Fort Bend ISD Teacher of the Year award. Also in attendance were event sponsors and the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees.

Event sponsors for this reception included Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Dearborn & Creggs, Jamail & Smith Construction, LP, Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott, LLP, and Stantec. Gifts were donated by Cherry Blow Dry Bar – Missouri City, Chuy’s, Milagro Salons, and Perry’s Steakhouse. Thank you all for your generosity.

 The Education Division of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is under the leadership of Chair, Jim Rice, Rice & Gardner Consultants, Inc. The Education Division’s passion is building awareness and connections between the business sector, community leaders, and education. By keeping its members engaged with current events impacting education on a local and national level; the division’s goal is to create opportunities for individuals to invest in education.
