Sugar Land police are looking for two women and a man who stole 62 glasses totaling about $9,000 from LensCrafters, 16535 Southwest Freeway, on Aug. 3.
Employees noticed the glasses were missing during a routine inventory of their Versace, Tiffany & Co. and Bvlgari glasses at 5 p.m. They contacted police the following day after a review of the store’s surveillance video identified three suspects.
The video showed an Hispanic woman in her 20s to early 30s place the glasses in her bag. She had a medium build and was wearing a gray shirt. Another Hispanic woman stood between the first woman and an employee while her accomplice concealed the merchandise. She was heavyset, in her late 20s to early 30s and wore a tan see-through blouse. Police believe a tall Hispanic man seen on video pulling drawers assisted the two women. He was in his 30s and wore a black t-shirt.
Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
